January 3rd marked the 21st anniversary of the series premiere of Star Trek: Deep Space Nine. The third live-action Star Trek series was markedly different than its predecessors, but still in the same continuity. It was set on a space station instead of a starship. Despite the differences, it lasted seven seasons in syndication. On our Facebook page, some Deep Space Nine viewers and fans left their thoughts on the series. Justin Granger says “[I] dislike that it took 2 seasons for the show to get going. [It's] all love after that, especially when Worf joins the crew.” And, Karen Searcy adds, “It was my second favorite after the Original series.”
A man in Seattle shows his passion for pinball by operating a museum for pinball in Washington State. Pinball player can play up to 50 different tables from the past and present. On our Facebook page, we asked our viewers what their favorite pinball tables were. Hannah West replied, “Elvira! And the Addams family. Also the one with the fish.”
On January 5th we recognized that January was National Soup Month and asked our viewers and followers what their favorite types of soup were! In the video above, we share even more picks!
The BCS Championship game of American Football was recently played in Pasadena, California. The closely-fought contest ended in a victory for the Florida State Seminoles. In the video above, we share comments and thoughts on the game from some of our viewers and followers.
