Every Wednesday, News 4 This Morning takes a look at an assortment of the stories from our show that viewers and readers are talking about on our webchannel and related social media.

Earlier in the week, we shared pictures from some of our viewers of their “Elf on a Shelf” moments and hijinx! Since we received such a great number of them, we are sharing even more as part of Web Wednesday! You can see those in the video above!

The next day, as part of our “Countdown to Christmas,” we also shared pictures of novelty ornaments owned by our viewers and followers. We have even more of those to share as well, which you can also see in the segment’s video on this page.

Over the past weekend, the first official soundtrack to the hit animated series, My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, was released. The eleven-track release covers musical numbers from the first two seasons of the show. It’s available on iTunes and Google Play, with a physical CD release to come later. On Twitter, James Just-Ice responded to the story, “I need to get it and soon!” And, Buttons replied, “Already purchased here!!”

Last Thursday, Patrick Stewart was part of a ceremony in his honor. The Star Trek: The Next Generation actor now has a bus with his likeness on it. It’s a double-decker tour bus that will travel through parts of New York City. On Facebook, some of our viewers shared their favorite roles played by the actor over the years. Kati Price said, “I liked that he was in Robin Hood Men in Tights I also enjoyed him as Alistair on Frazier. That was hilarious!” She also thinks he was “amazing” as Professor X in the X-Men films. Joyce Barkley replied, “Captain Picard” and Nanette Sconiers said, “I like him best performing on live on stage!”

December 9th was National Pastry Day. On that day, we asked our viewers and followers their favorite pastries. And, this morning, we’re sharing even more picks! You can see what those choices were in the video!
