This Monday, the popular fast food chain McDonalds began offering free small McCafe coffees during breakfast hours. This promotion, which will last two weeks, is to compete against Taco Bell, which just started serving breakfast items like waffle tacos. Melissa Smith said, “Love their coffee, nice n strong. Yum.” Mary Owens responded to the story with “No. I don't drink coffee.” And, Diane Robinson commented, “Sure it's FREE!”

Aside from being April Fool’s Day, April the 1st was also Batman Day. 2014 marked 75 years since the debut of the Bob Kane-created Batman character in comic books. Mike Spectrum said his favorite Batman interpretations are “The 1989 Batman, 1991's Batman Returns, and Batman The Animated Series that ran on Fox circa 1994.” OneBrokePony’s favorite is “The Animated Series, especially the early seasons because those had my favorite art in the franchise.” Octavia Greymane tweeted, “I loved the Adam West Batman TV series; hammy acting and awesome guest stars, though the first movie was quite enjoyable.” And, Melody Harrison commented, “Micheal Kenton as Batman. Best by far.”

The day before Batman Day, the unofficial holiday was Crayola Crayon Day. That was on March 31st. In a poll question on that story on our webchannel, we asked our viewers if they color. See the results of that poll in the video above! April Rockwell commented on the story, saying, “I love the smell of a new box of Crayola Crayons! Any shade of purple are my favs!” And, Kimberly Hathcock added, “I love them all...just give me a 96 count or larger box and an OLD FASHION coloring book and I will be in CRAYOLA heaven for hours on end!”

March 31st also marked the anniversary of the debut of Wrestlemania, the premiere pro wrestling pay-per-view event put on by the then-World Wrestling Federation, now known as World Wrestling Entertainment. See the results to our poll question, “Do you watch professional wrestling on TV?” in the video above!
