Bulgaria recently opened a library on a beach! The beach library is the first in the European Union and offers over 2500 hundred books for free in a variety of genres for beachgoers to enjoy. On News 4’s Morning Facebook page, Chrystal Hood approves of the idea and says that she “Love[s] reading at the beach. [I] just finished Moby Dick by Herman Melville the last time I was there!”

Every Tuesday, News 4 covers the notable home video releases hitting Blu-Ray and DVD in the US that week. The week of July 23, 2013 included such releases as the theatrical thriller Trance and the season 3 box set of the animated Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles series. However, on News 4’s main Facebook page, Sam Breth was looking ahead. He comments, “I'm waiting on September and the release of Sharknado to home video.”

Shout! Factory, known for their TV-on-DVD releases, recently announced a limited edition “Power Rangers Legacy” box set including nearly 100 DVDs spanning 20 seasons of the popular franchise from Mighty Morphin’ to Megaforce. On Facebook, Tony Reeder said that his favorite of the series was “the originals since that’s what we watched when my daughter was young.” There are smaller separate releases of the original series already widely available.

July 23 was National Hot Dog Day, an unofficial holiday celebrating the popular staple of ball parks and grill-outs. On Facebook, many shared the way that they prefer their hot dogs. Ember Hancock likes it with “Finely chopped up onions, mustard, and a little relish on a RED dog, perfection!” Iris Pherrman says, “I like mine with mustard, mayo, chili, cheese, onion, and sauerkraut ! It is so good!”
