It’s an unofficial holiday that marks a staple of restaurants across the United States: the Cheeseburger.
September 18th is unofficially National Cheeseburger Day. The cheeseburger became popular in the 1920s and 1930s and is traditionally served with processed American cheese. However, it can also be served with cheddar, pepper jack and other varieties.
