Mean Girls was released in American theaters on April 30th, 2014. The film starred Lindsey Lohan, Lacey Chabert and Tina Fey.

The film is about how the various cliques of the school interact, including the titular “mean girls.”

Written by Tina Fey, the low-budget comedy was a big success, making back over ten times what it cost to produce.

Some quotes from the film have become internet memes. A direct-to-DVD sequel with a new cast was released in 2011.
