The Core was released in American theaters on March 28, 2003. The science-fiction flick starred Hilary Swank, Aaron Eckhart and Bruce Greenwood.

In the picture, a team must travel to the Earth's core to restart its rotation, or else the planet Earth could be doomed!

Rated PG-13, The Core grossed nearly 75 million dollars at the box office.
