Henriette would be one of the strongest hurricanes in the Eastern Pacific of the 2013 season.
Beginning as Tropical Depression Eight-E on August 3rd, Henriette would form about 700 miles from Baja California but move westward during most of its life.
It became a Tropical Storm on August 4th and a Hurricane on the 6th. It would eventually strengthen to pack sustained winds of 105 miles per hour, putting it at a Category 2 on the Saffir-Simpson scale.
Despite lasting for over a week, Henriette had no major impacts on any landmasses and broke up on August 11th.
