Comic books are growing in popularity.

Comic book store employees credit superhero movies for their increased sales.

In the last three years, more people have been reading comic books.

Book stores have seen the younger generation is picking up the hobby and some adults are getting interested in it again.

"I used to read the X-men and things like that and I have seen all of the movies and even the cartoons on TV and so that is somethings I probably don't have as much time to read those kind of things then I would like," said Teressa Nyman, manager at Red House Book Store.

Book store owners say this genre is ageless.
