Last Tuesday’s runoff election for Geneva County Sheriff was certified Tuesday.
You may remember Chief Deputy Tony Helms defeated Alabama Beverage Control agent David Hall by 7 votes.
Tuesday, 4-provisional ballots were counted.
3 went to helms and one to Hall, extending his lead to nine.
Hall now has until 12:30 p.m, this Thursday to decide if he'll request a recount.
