Two people were injured in a single-vehicle accident that occurred Monday, November 9th in northern Walton County.
According to a press release from the Florida Highway Patrol, a Ford Ranger was traveling east on Christian Life Road in DeFuniak Springs when it failed to negotiate a left-handed curve on the roadway. The vehicle went off the road and hit a tree.
The driver suffered critical injuries, while the passenger only suffered minor injuries. Both driver and passenger were transported to the Southeast Alabama Medical Center in Dothan because of their injuries.
The crash, which caused an estimated $8,000 of damage to the Ford Ranger involved, is still under investigation by the Florida Highway Patrol.
