Parts of the Wiregrass got some soaking rains late into Tuesday night.
A heavy, slow-moving storm brought downpours to Dothan between 10:30pm and midnight. The rain, occasionally associated with thunder, fell at a quick rate. The Dothan Airport recorded 0.60” in just an hour late Tuesday night.
Meanwhile, other locations in southeast Alabama stayed dry. For example, for the entire day on Tuesday, Ozark recorded only 0.03” of rain, while Troy’s airport had no measurable rainfall.
