Tuesday afternoon a quiet senior center in Geneva got a little loud.
That's because it was Wii sports bowling time!
The Geneva center played host to the Hartford senior center.
Teams of four, with one alternate, were virtually throwing strikes and spares in one of the top selling video games of the past decade.
It's not uncommon many of these Wii bowlers score 300's on a regular basis.
Wanda Dorriety, director of the Harford Senior Center, said, “"It's a lot of fun, great exercise for the seniors, and we decided to bowl with local senior centers."
The Hartford team started competing nationally last year, and this was only their second time competing against another local senior center.
And, if you're curious, Geneva did beat Hartford, so congratulations to them for their victory and to both teams for participating.
