"Payless Gives Shoes for Kids" is an annual program which aims to relieve stress that parents may feel during the school year.
They partnered with The Boys and Girls Club to provide a free pair of shoes to children who need them. Each child gets a 20-dollar gift card to spend on a shoe pair of their choice.
"Last year we got 75 certificates this year we asked for 150 to try and incorporate some of our other youth from our other site locations," Justin Hayes, Program Director said.
This is the fifth year the program has been running. This is the second year the Wiregrass chapter participated in it.
