Headland will soon hear new voices over the radio.

Ram Education Radio, WRMZ 98.1 is coming to Headland and South Henry County.

It will be a non-profit education commercial free FM radio station.

The General Manager Jeanne Sigler says it will feature talk shows with local celebrities and students.

They will also broadcast local football and basketball games.

Sigler says she wants it to be the community's radio station.

"Headland being smaller, sometimes smaller towns miss out on things and are forgotten and Headland does not deserve to be forgotten because it is a spectacular town with wonderful people the town and leaders and very supportive to us."

People will able to meet the voices behind the mic at Headland's spring festival this Saturday.

They hope to be on the air this summer.
