Every Wednesday, News 4 This Morning takes a look at the lighter stories from our show that viewers and readers are talking about on our webchannel and related social media.

On Monday, News 4 reported that the 1990s animated series, Tiny Toon Adventures, was returning to the airwaves. Repeats of the series’ 100 episodes will now be airing weekdays on The Hub. On News 4’s main Facebook page, we shared the story and asked what viewers’ picks were of favorite animated series from the 90s. Rick Townley answered, "Duck Tales, Tale Spin, Ghostbusters, Back to the Future...there was a resurgence of quality animated series during that period." And, on our web-channel, a user named Timon commented on the article, simply saying, “Awesomeness, thy name is HUB.”

Earlier, we reported that a new ride based on the Transformers film franchise was opening at Universal Orlando resort. There have been three films in the series so far, with a fourth set to release in 2014. On Facebook, Joyce Knight reacted to the story, saying, "Sure wish Dothan had something for the people in this area. There is nothing as always so again lets take our money to Florida."

New Blu-Rays are being released in the Star Trek franchise. On Monday, we shared that new season sets from Star Trek: The Next Generation and Star Trek: Enterprise will be coming out in July and August, respectively. Michael McClean shared his thoughts on the science-fiction franchise, saying, Star Trek is great. I really like the original as well as the next Generation. All 10 movies that were done between those two series are in my collection!"

In Indiana, a group of farmers is using waterbeds to help cows relax and produce more milk. A user named Lois had a unique and funny proposal to help the animals relax even further: “Cows like classical music also. Why don't he have the cows some music playing? They also might like to watch video's of bulls strutting their stuff. They could lay upon their water beds and dream of that handsome bull in the video's, while they listen to that classical music.”

One of the most popular entertainment-oriented articles of the past week involved the continued success of the comic book series based on My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. The animated series has passionate teenage and adult fans known as Bronies. They have helped the comic succeed, and it still sells tens of thousands of issues each month. On our web-channel, a user named Lumi the Pony commented --"AW YEAH! Just some extra motivation right here to catch back up with the series! Time to do some comic hunting... =D" In addition, the story was retweeted by several of the staff that work on the comic itself!
