A powerful wall of dust swept across Lubbock, Texas Tuesday (3-18) evening.
The National Weather Service predicted there was more high wind and dust to come over the next several hours.
The winds blew in from the north at around 40 miles an hour with gusts up to 55. The storm cut visibility dramatically. The National Weather Service warned drivers that visibility could drop to near zero making travel very hazardous.
The Weather Service also warned those with respiratory problems to stay inside.
