Utah: Driverless Car Cruises Down Highway

Driving in snow storm, a Salt Lake City man got a shock on the interstate when he noticed the car next to him -- had no driver.

Thomas Goodman shot this video as he rolled up an early 90's Buick LeSabre, with a phantom driver, horn blaring, drivers scrambling to get out of the way.

It became evident to Thomas that this was the man's car, escaping him on southbound I-15.

Goodman doesn't know what happened to the car or the guy in the middle of the freeway, but says it’s a reminder to him of the craziness winter weather brings to our roadways.

Highway patrol was inundated with calls due to the large number of incidents caused by the snow storm.

Officers didn't have any additional information about the driverless accident.

The whereabouts of the car are unknown.
