A pillow fight involving over 300 students marked the end of summer in the western Ukrainian city of Lviv.
Feathers flew in the air as high school students and their younger colleagues smacked each other with pillows.
"We don't have pillow fights that often, maybe for some it was fun, but it was cool to throw around the feathers, it was the best fun out of all of this," said student Sofija Krugliak.
Organizers insisted that only soft pillows, filled with feathers, were used in the fight and no punching or kicking was allowed. It wasn't clear how many people would show up after some rainy weather in the days leading up to the event, but organizer Lurko Dvornik said more people showed than last year.
"We are happy. We were a little worried about the weather because of the rain; we were not sure how many people will show up. Fortunately more people showed up then last year and you could see yourself how many came. And all of them celebrated the end of summer and beginning of autumn very actively and in a healthy way," Dvornik said.
Participants were allowed to bring as many pillows as they wished to the fight, as long as everyone had fun and nobody got hurt.
