USA Barely Misses Playoff Round in 2014 Women’s World Curling Championships

Team USA had a stellar start in the 2014 Women’s World Curling Championships taking place in New Brunswick, Canada, but is now eliminated from the next round.

In the first of their two games played on Thursday, Team USA lost to South Korea by a score of 8-6. They came back with an 8-4 win over Scotland, but with a 6-5 record, Team USA did not make it to the playoff round.

Canada, Switzerland and Russia are already in the semifinal round, while South Korea and Sweden will have to play a tiebreaker game.
