US Women’s Curling Team Scores Two More Victories in World Championships

It’s been an up and down ride for Team USA at the 2014 Women’s World Curling Championships, but the ice was right for the Americans on Wednesday.

After three wins to begin the tournament, the US dropped four games after that, falling to a losing record.

But, seven was a lucky number for the Americans on Wednesday. In their first game, they defeated the Czech Republic 7 to 6. Later in the day, they beat Latvia 7 to 3.

After these two wins, the US team has a record of 5 and 4. They play Thursday against South Korea and Scotland.
