The 68th Annual Tony Awards celebrated the best of Broadway Sunday night.

Many plays, old and new, and their actors and writers were recognized, including Lena Hall for the musical “Hedwig and the Angry Itch.” But, it's what she said at the end of her acceptance speech that has some on the internet buzzing.

Hall said, “So, I love you alll...all of you...this whole Broadway community, I love you so much...the girls...the women in my category, you're amazing...and thank you so much...friendship is magic...thank you!”

The line “Friendship is Magic” is a reference to the hit animated My Little Pony series called Friendship is Magic, that has attracted a passionate fanbase of both children and adults. In a previous interview with Vanity Fair, Hall says she is proud fan of the show.
