With the Future Masters tournament going on now in Dothan, it's a perfect time to look back at a critically-acclaimed Golf video game for this week's Throwback Thursday.
Mario Golf was released for the Nintendo 64 in the summer of 1999.
In the game, you can play as original characters such as Plum or a variety of Mario characters like Luigi, Princess Peach, and Yoshi.
There are also many different modes, including a mini-golf mode. You could even taunt your opponents with positive or negative voice clips while they try to line up their shot.
The game was a hit and spawned multiple sequels. In fact, the latest Mario Golf game was recently released for the Nintendo 3DS.
