Team USA Off To 2-0 Start in FIBA U17 Women's World Basketball Championship

Over the weekend, the Women's Under-17 FIBA World Championships of Basketball began in the Czech Republic, and Team USA is off to a great start.

In their first game of round robin play, the US defeated China by a score of 69-41, holding China to only four points in the first quarter.

And, in their second game played on Sunday, Team USA was even more dominant, defeating the team from France by a score of 88-40. France only scored one single point during the fourth quarter of play.

The tournament takes a day off on Monday. Tuesday, USA faces off against Mali.
