Texas authorities are looking for whoever vandalized a space shuttle replica outside Space Center Houston.
Graffiti sprayed on the shuttle says things like "Houston, we are the problem" and includes at least one racial slur and other offensive messages.
Black paint was also sprayed on part of the structure that holds up the replica.
Police are hoping surveillance video captured the suspect or suspects in the act.
Cleanup crews worked throughout the day to remove the graffiti.
The replica shuttle, once named Explorer, arrived in Houston last year.
It was renamed the Independence.
