The past two months, we've covered entertainment history, and on October in 2010, a show that would launch a pop culture phenomenon premiered.

That show was My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, an animated series created by Lauren Faust, who previously worked on award-winning shows like Powerpuff Girls and Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends.

The show was made for parents and guardians to enjoy with their kids, but attracted a passionate fanbase of teenagers and adults, who would later become known as Bronies.

As the show continued to grow in popularity, so did the creations by fans--including art-work like you see here.

The community of Bronies has a huge amount of not just art, but also fan fiction, music, animation, conventions, podcasts and much more. The series has lasted three seasons so far, with the fourth season set to debut on The Hub network next month.

The video above shows art from fans of the show sent in to us from all over the world! Some of the art includes interpretations of both WTVY’s “OC” (“Original Character”) as well as pony versions of Demetria, Paul, Chris, and even our producer!

Be sure to check out the bonus video where our normal weekly Thursday Talk of the Town guest talks about Ponies too!
