Robot Roundup in Texas

Austin's Anderson High School served as the battleground for teams of battling robots from across the state of Texas. High school teams from 3 states participated in the Texas robot roundup, which pitted robots up to five feet tall in a flying-disc competition called ultimate ascent.

The 150-pound robots compete in alliances and score by shooting Frisbees and climbing pyramids.

It's used to bring together mentors and children and challenge them through robotics.
