Road Resurfacing Begins in Henry County (AM)

Henry County is spending more than $2 millions to fix roads.

Henry County Roads 74 and 63 are being redone

County officials are using a different process to resurface 18 miles worth of roads.

It's all in hopes of keeping them smoother longer.

The new process will also save the county about $40,000 per mile.

County resdients say it is about time something is being done.

"My brother, myself and my mom live here and we have some neighbors it is quite a busy road most days we are just tickled to death that it's being worked on," said Tommy Mims, Henry County resident.

County Road 56, County Road 68 and Otho Road are next.

They should be completed by the end of summer,
