My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic
Fans of the animated series My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic point to many reasons for their love of the show, one of those being the original songs created for the show. Now, young fans and Bronies alike can enjoy a soundtrack from its first two seasons.
“Songs of Friendship and Magic” collects many of the vocal songs from the show's first two seasons. The songs are composed by Daniel Ingram and sung by wide variety of vocalists including Shannon Chan-Kent, Rebecca Shoichet, and Kazumi Evans.
They include songs such as “Winter Wrap Up,” “The Smile Song,” and “Becoming Popular.”
The album is currently available on iTunes and Google Play, but a physical CD release has also been announced.
It currently has a 5-star rating with 51 reviews on iTunes.
As of Sunday morning, according to iTunes charts, it was the 8th-top soundtrack album in the US, ahead of the latest Hunger Games and Pitch Perfect soundtracks. It was number 4 on Canada's soundtrack chart, and the number one most popular soundtrack in Sweden. And, as of early Monday Morning, it led the soundtrack chart in Japan.
