Nyad Refutes Cheating Claims

Long distance swimmer Diana Nyad -- who swam from Cuba to Florida in just 53 hours -- is defending herself against allegations of cheating.

The 64-year-old is answering questions from members of the Marathon Swimmers Forum and the International Swimming Hall of Fame who question how she swam more than 100 miles in about 53 hours.

In a conference call, she denied accusations she held onto a boat during the swim.

Last week, Nyad made history to become the first person to swim from Cuba to Florida without a shark cage.
