Mario & Sonic at the Sochi 2014 Olympic Winter Games – November 15th (Nintendo, WiiU, Rated E) – The fourth installment in the Nintendo/Sega sports crossover series is set in the upcoming 2014 Russian Olympics. This version features HD graphics and a large variety of winter sports events from curling, to figure skating, to ice hockey. The game also features “dream” events which mix sports with the more fantastic elements found in the Sonic and Mario franchises. Online play with four events is also available.
Farming Simulator – November 19th (Focus Home Interactive, PS3 and Xbox 360, Rated E) – This simulation game lets the player run their own farm in a sandbox style. In the game, the player must plant and nuture crops, raise cattle and other animals, operate machinery and make money by selling products. Both American and European farms are featured, as well as brand-name tractors and farming equipment.
The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds – November 22nd - (Nintendo, 3DS, Rated E) – Set in the same world as the Super Nintendo Zelda title, A Link to the Past, this all-new adventure takes Link through the kingdom of Hyrule and a darker, parallel version of that kingdom. The game features all-new dungeons as well as a variety of new items, which can now be rented or purchased. This role-playing game is the second Zelda title to be released for Nintendo's current handheld.
Super Mario 3D World – November 22nd - (Nintendo, WiiU, Rated E) – The latest Mario platformer title allows 1 to 4 players to venture through 3D worlds. Players can choose between Mario, Peach, Luigi and Toad. Power-ups old and new are featured in the game, such as one that transforms the player into a cat, or another that turns one giant-sized!
