Tropical Storm Octave, like several storms during the 2013 Pacific Tropical Season, would bring rain and wind to parts of Baja California.

The storm first formed into a Tropical Depression on October 12th, 2013. It would become Tropical Storm Octave the next day.

Octave would reach peak strength on October 14th, with sustained winds of 65 miles per hour. The storm would not become a hurricane, however, and would begin to weaken as it neared the Baja California area.

It did bring rain and wind to Baja California, as well as parts of Mexico and Texas, but in the end, its effects would be minimal.

It would break up on the 15th of October.
