The Powerpuff Girls, a hit on Cartoon Network in the 1990s, is returning for a 15th anniversary special in 2014.
The Powerpuff Girls was a hit animated series that aired on Cartoon Network in the 90s and enjoyed by children and adults alike. In January of 2014, a 15th anniversary special brings Blossom, Buttercup, and Bubbles back to television one more time.
The original Powerpuff Girls series, created by Craig McCracken, was an animated comedy-action series that featured three super-powered young girls who tried to balance saving the day while living as kids.
The series lasted six seasons, and for the series 15th anniversary, Cartoon Network will air “Dance Pantsed” on Monday, January 20th at 6:30pm Central Time.
The original voice cast of Tara Strong, E.G. Daily, and Christine Cavadini will return to reprise their roles. And, former Beatle Ringo Starr will lend his voice to a new guest character.
The Powepuff Girls' previous adventures have been released in a complete DVD collector's set.
