Throughout the past year, News 4 This Morning has covered holidays that aren’t as well known as Christmas and Halloween.

These unofficial, odd, and quirky holidays might pay tribute to a food, drink, item, or something else entirely.

The five odd holidays that we’re looking back on for Year in Review include:
• Cereal Day: March 7th
• Crush a Can Day: September 27th
• International Men’s Day: November 19th
• International Talk Like a Pirate Day: September 19th
• 50th Anniversary of the Hula Hoop: March 2013
