Weather Sirens Offline in New Brockton:

For those of you in New Brockton, the weather sirens in that community are not working.

Police say they were struck by lightning.

If there is severe weather, officers will drive around town with their sirens on.

The weather sirens are expected to be back working next week.

Other ways you can be informed about severe weather include weather radios, the internet, and of course, right here on News 4.

And, speaking of storms, the rain poured down at the Dothan Regional Airport Wednesday.

Video of the storm was shot by News 4 reporter/anchor Devon Sellers.

The rain came down hard and fast.

And the wind picked up significantly.
