A winter-weary nation is getting ready for more snow in some areas and dangerously cold temperatures.
Crews in Delaware County, Pennsylvania near Philadelphia got a much needed delivery of 20 thousand tons of salt last night to ensure the roads will be safe for yet another snowfall this morning.
This season- the state has plowed through nearly one million tons of salt during more than a dozen storms, so more supplies were badly needed.
Ice jams in the Midwest and northeast are blocking rivers, causing damage and raising concerns about flooding.
Across much of the Midwest and the east- temperatures are once again plunging.
The cold is hitting the New York City area. It’s not too bad right now- in the high twenties- but the mercury is predicted to drop into the mid-teens tonight.”
