Parts of the Midwest and Southeastern United States could see some rough weather later today.

The Storm Prediction Center has placed a large area of the country under a moderate risk of severe weather, including the threat of large hail, damaging winds, and tornadoes.

The moderate risk zone covers nearly 150 thousand square miles and includes cities like Memphis...Saint Louis...and Little Rock.

Beyond that, a slight risk of severe weather exists today for places like Houston, Huntsville, and Indianapolis.
