Hurricane Henriette is expected to weaken as it moves further away from the Continental United States.
As of 11:00pm Eastern Time on Thursday, Hurricane Henriette had sustained winds of 100 miles per hour, with gusts up to 120 miles per hour.
However, the compact nature of the storm means that as of that advisory, those winds only extended out 10 miles from the center of the storm.
The storm is expected to rapidly lose strength as it tracks to the south of Hawaii in the next few days.
