Entertainment Extra: My Little Pony “Friends Forever” Comic Series Debuts Today

The comic books based on the animated series My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic have been a success for publisher IDW, and a new line in the series makes its debut today.

The comic books based on the animated series My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic have been a success for publisher IDW, and a new line in the series makes its debut today.

The main My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic comic has sold over a million issues since its debut, and continues with its fifteen issue being recently released. A secondary series known as the Micro Series ran for ten issues, each story focusing on a singular character from the show.

My Little Pony: Friends Forever makes its debut on January 22nd. The concept of the series will involve team-ups of pairs of both major and minor characters. For example, the first issue will team-up “mane” characters Pinkie Pie and Applejack.
