Bronies for Good, a group of animation fans who promote various charitable causes, are calling on fellow fans to donate blood from across the world.
My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic has attracted a passionate fanbase of teenagers and adults, both male and female, since its premiere in 2010. The series has been praised by Bronies, one name for the fans of the series, for its animation, writing, characters, optimistic setting and music.
The Bronies for Good group has helped with a variety of charitable causes in the past, such as funding various structures for needy children in Africa. Starting on September 5th and lasting through October 5th, they are engaging in Nurse Redheart’s Roundup.
Named for a background character from My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, the Roundup encourages fans from all across the world to donate blood. By doing so, they will be able to help the worldwide need for blood for transfusions.
