A handful of kids drew their arrows at Eastgate Archery Range in Dothan Monday afternoon for an Olympics-style target class that covers archery history, safety and technique.

Teachers and parents say the popularity of movies like Disney's "Brave" and "The Hunger Games" has inspired a new generation of young archers.

The class is also focused on strengthening mental concentration, self-improvement and patience.
