It's a school you perhaps wish was around when you were a kid.
We're talking about the school of rock.
And the school, aimed at teaching kids the love of music in a hands-on approach, is now making some noise in Ballwin, Missouri.
It's the grand opening.
And classes are filling up with kids ready to rock.
And the instructors here say it is possible to sound like this.
“There's this myth that music is this magical ability, I think it's something that basically everyone can learn,” Jordan Heimburger said.
It's what they call an alternative to the traditional music program.
It's real musicians teaching kids how to rock.
Since 1998, school of rock classes have spread wildly across the U.S.., Canada and Mexico.
And for most of the musicians here, they say there is an advantage to being in a rock and roll band.
