A Panhandle Motorcycle Club Will Raise Money For Burn Victims

A panhandle motorcycle club made up mostly of firefighters are going on a charity ride to raise money for burn victims.

The ride will take place on Sunday and it is a fundraiser to help support Camp Amigo. Camp Amigo is a burn camp located on the Gulf Coast. The Jackson County chapter of the Fire & Iron Motorcycle Club have already raised $2,000 for the camp.

"To give something back to them is letting people know that you really do care. That's probably the biggest reason," said Michael Blum, the President of the Jackson County Fire & Iron Motorcycle station.

This charity ride hits close to home for Jackson County because it benefits six children who suffered emotional trauma after losing four role models in a new years day fire in Marianna.
