Astronomers have determined some interesting characteristics of a planet far, far away.
They've found a deep azure blue planet orbiting a star 63 light years away.
It’s the first time they've been able to determine the actual color of a planet outside our solar system.
The planet, known as HD 189733b, is a gas giant with a daytime temperature of two-thousand degrees Fahrenheit.
Here’s where things get really interesting.
They say on this planet, it may rain liquid glass sideways amid 4500 mile per hour winds!
NASA and the European space agency announced the news Thursday.
The observations were made with the Hubble Space Telescope.
