The My Little Pony chapter books, penned by G.M. Berrow, are popular with young readers and some of the Bronies, the teen and adult fans of the current series, Friendship is Magic.
One series of children's books that's also attracted an older fanbase follows in the footstep of the series its adapting, My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic.
The animated series My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic is a success with young girls, but has also drawn in a worldwide and passionate following of fans of teenage and adult ages. These fans, commonly known as Bronies, credit multiple factors for their love of the show: the animation, writing, characters, music, humor, and positive messages and morals.
Starting in February of 2013, a chapter book series based on the animated series was begun. These books, penned by author G.M. Berrow, have received consistently high reviews on Amazon--the three that have been released so far all mark in at 4.5 or higher with over 10 reviews each--over 50 in the case of the first novel in the series, Twilight Sparkle and the Crystal Heart Spell.
Berrow has even been a guest at recent Brony conventions, such as Nightmare Nights in Texas. At least two more books are planned in the series, and can be pre-ordered through book retailers.
