Every Wednesday, News 4 This Morning takes a look at an assortment of the stories from our show that viewers and readers are talking about on our webchannel and related social media.

For the very first installment of “Food Friday,” we asked friends of our show to share their favorite fast food items and/or combos. We have even more picks in the segment above!

For the second weekend of February, “The Lego Movie” topped the box office charts. Many of our viewers and followers shared their opinions on the film. Beth Strickland said, “It was great. It was one of those movies I will want to watch over and over again (and I'm the adult...LOL).” Amanda Knight opined, “Best movie made in a very long time. Smart, funny, appropriate for the times, and a wonderful message at the end.” And, Dorothy Thomas commented, “Great family movie. Kids of all ages will enjoy it even us bigger ones.”

The mobile game called Flappy Bird was a big hit recently, and spread quickly across social media. Despite the success, the creator of the game removed it from online digital stores. Friends of News 4 This Morning left their thoughts on the game. Benjamin Hile said it was “Frustrating but couldn't put it down.” Felicia Tharp has “no prob with it.. I don't see why everyone hates it so much.” And, Donna Lindgren adds, “My son whom is 17 loves it and still plays it but says it's more addictive then candy crush.”

February 10th, 1997 marked the anniversary of the US release of Mario Kart 64, which became a popular racer for the Nintendo 64 video game console. Several viewers left their thoughts on the game. Randy Welch said, “I enjoyed the ruined child friendships it brought me over that spiked shell.” Travis Lee ads, “This was my favorite game. I got it for Christmas that year along with a brand new N64. Had a lot of fun playing it.” And, Kate Kirkland comments, “I still have this game and play it every once in a blue moon.”

As the countdown to Valentine’s Day continues, some of our friends shared their stories of the most memorable and/or romantic gifts that they received for Valentine’s! You can hear more of those stories in the video!
