Scattered Storms Bring Some Rain to Parts of the Wiregrass

Storms weren’t everywhere in the Wiregrass on Sunday, but some parts of the area did get some rain, and even lightning and wind.

Storms weren’t everywhere in the Wiregrass on Sunday, but some parts of the area did get some rain, and even lightning and wind.

One area that did see storms was Pike County. The Troy airport recorded 11-hundredths of an inch of rain between 8pm and 10pm. Earlier than that, southern areas of the county such as Goshen received some rain and lightning.

A thunderstorm was observed around 7pm at Carins Army Air Field in Ozark, leaving behind 0.05” of measurable rain.

Meanwhile, the Dothan Regional Airport received no measurable rain.
