These are a few of the most notable video game releases for home computers and gaming consoles in North America for the month of September 2013.
Rayman Legends - September 3rd (Wii U/Playstation 3/PC/X-Box 360, Rated E-10) - This 2D platformer is a sequel to the critically-acclaimed Rayman Origins, and is the latest in a series of platformers that dates back to the 1990s. 1 to 4 players can control Rayman or other characters in side-scrolling levels, freeing creatures called Teensies and collecting Lums. There are also music-based levels, unlockable levels from the previous game and other additional items of content.

Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 Remix - September 10th (Playstation 3, Rated E-10) - This release features two games from the Kingdom Hearts series, a line of role-playing games that crossover the long-running Final Fantasy franchise with numerous Disney movies and television shows. Two games from the previous generation (Kingdom Hearts 1 & Re:Chain of Memories) remastered in high definition, as well as the story of a third game (358/2 Days) from the series is told as a cinematic set of cut-scenes.

Grand Theft Auto V - September 17th (Playstation 3/X-Box 360, Rated M) - The latest release in the controverial series takes place in Los Santos (based on Los Angeles), and allows the player to take part in side activities like yoga and golf in addition to crime and mayhem. It also has an online multiplayer mode that up to sixteen players can participate in.

FIFA 14 - September 24th (Playstation 3/X-Box 360/PC) - The yearly series of soccer (or futbol) continues from Electronic Arts. Several new gameplay tweaks have been made in the series that allows players to play a single game or a career of soccer from just about anywhere in the world.
