***Special Thanks to Tomas Precuil and Le Poney Blanc for Sharing Your BronyDays Pictures With Us!***
The latest convention celebrating the hit animated series, My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic took place in Paris, France over the final weekend of October.
BronyDays began on October 26th in Paris, France. Teenage and adult fans of the show from France and across Europe met at a venue to attend panels that discussed the show, show off their costumes, purchase merchandise, enjoy fan-made music, and just interact with fellow fans who enjoy the series—commonly known as Bronies.
Voice actors from some of the European version of the show were in attendance, as well as M.A. Larson, who is a writer for the show. Larson has written some episodes that many consider fan-favorites such as “The Return of Harmony” and “Swarm of the Century.”
Friendship is Magic has attracted this broad demographic of fans for a variety of reasons. Bronies state that they enjoy the show because of the animation, positive world, voice acting, humor, writing, upbeat tone, fleshed-out characters, music, and other reasons. A vast and thriving fan base online continues to create fan fiction, artwork, music and even animations based on the show.
