There's a New Garrison Command Sergeant Major at Fort Rucker

It's out with the old and in with new. Fort Rucker is making a new change in responsibility.

Command Sergeant Major William D. Lohmeyer will assume responsibility as Fort Rucker's Garrison Command Sergeant. A private ceremony was held earlier this morning at the Army Aviation Museum.
Command Sergeant Majors usually provide counsel and recommendations to the commander and staff.

"I really cannot express to you the joy and honor I feel to be selected to this assignment. In my entire Army career the two things that have given me the most satisfaction above all else has been serving my country and taking care of soldiers," said CSM William D. Lohmeyer.

The outgoing CSM is Buford E. Noland. He will assume new duties in Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri.
